Once upon a time there was a little boy with big dreams. Andrew was his name, but only his mom calls him that now. Andy, as he is known, was born in the small town of San Francisco . He graduated from Carnegie Mellon where he studied fine art and how to lie convincingly (“Acting”) . He lives in the Big Apple now, but it reminds him of his love of oranges. Why can’t we compare fruits? All jokes aside, Andy has worked in theater and film for years and has many professional and local credits under his belt. From the Bay Area’s Magic Berkeley Rep Theatre to the Arthaus program in Berlin, Andy is always working his butt off and putting it back on.

  • Let the Right One In

    Within a week of graduating, Andy gets his first job out of college as an understudy in Berkeley Rep’s Let The Right One directed by John Tiffany and Stevem Hoggett

  • NSAL Drama Competition Nationals - Third Place

    After winning first place in the NSAL Pittsburgh chapter drama competition, Andy travels to Nationals and wins third place!

  • CMU Senior Showcase

    To capstone his four years at Carnegie Mellon, Andy and the rest of the graduating drama class of ‘23 prepare a showcase. They perform in New York, LA, and even film material that can be found on the showcase website!

  • You on the Moors Now

    For his final performance at CMU, Andy takes on the role of Laurie Laurence in Jaclyn Backhaus’ You on the Moors Now. The show combines movement, famous literary characters, and clowning.

  • NSAL Drama Competition Pittsburgh Chapter - First Place

    Andy is honored to win first place in the Pittsburgh chapter of the National Society of Arts and Literature Drama competition. In May, he will be heading to Kentucky to compete in Nationals.

  • Sunday Morning Love

    On the same day of the Winner’s Circle release, Andy appears on Jason Schmidt’s Sunday Morning Love. This was the first song they wrote as roommates!

    Andy releases a two song EP called the Winner’s Circle. The idea was to make a happy version and a sad version of a song with the same lyrics.

  • Arthaus Berlin

    In his senior year, Andy studies movement and devising theatre while abroad in Berlin. He also learns to appreciate beer at Oktoberfest.

    With the help of an incredible team of artists from Seattle, Andy releases the music video for his song Higher.

    Andy releases his first full length studio album. It receives glowing reviews and passes 30k streams in it’s first six months on Spotify.

  • LINK Class 4

    The Growing Studio accepts Andy into the LINK program. He spends two weeks in New York, attending workshops with industry professionals.

  • Woyzeck

    For his first main stage production at CMU, Andy is cast as Grandmother in Woyzeck. The show combines movement, absurdism, and an 80’s punk aesthetic.

  • Carnegie Mellon School of Drama

    Andy is accepted into and joins the Carnegie Mellon Acting class of ‘23

  • College of Marin Drama

    After two years of classes, Andy graduates from College of Marin with an Associate’s Degree in Drama.

  • The Resting Place

    Andy joins San Francisco’s Magic Theatre for the world premiere of The Resting Place. He plays the role of Charles, a young man struggling with PTSD.

  • 2006 Time Magazine's Person of the Year

    At age 7, Andy is honored to be named TIME Magazine’s Person of the year.
